It has been almost four weeks since we left NY with Marley, our GSP, and I want to give you an update. First, she is a sweetie that we love very much. Her disposition is outstanding and she is one fast learner. The house training has been going very well. The first two nights she had accidents in her kennel (as expected) and that was it. We don’t give her free run of the house, but she has full freedom in the kitchen and morning room (when we are home) and has not had any accidents since the first week. We’re halfway through puppy kindergarten, and even though she is one of the youngest pups in the class, she has picked up the commands very quickly. She is also very calm in stressful places; such as Lowe’s Garden Center, strip malls, or going on our boat for a ride in the Potomac River or the Chesapeake Bay. We live in Labrador Retriever country, so when people see Marley, they comment on how beautiful her markings are and how calm she is around people. Next question is “What type of dog is she?” and “Where did you get her?” I’ve also had several dog breeders and people that show dogs tell me she has the disposition, temperament, and markings of a show dog and I should show her. I’m not sure if we’ll go that route, but I won’t rule it out either. You were right South Side Farm regarding Jenna’s litter. Marley has been the perfect puppy for us and she is a great addition to our family. Attached are a few photos of Marley. I’ll send you another update in a month or so. Thanks again for picking out Marley for us to join our family.

As promised, I wanted to pass along a few pictures of Titus. He is 16 weeks now and doing great. He absolutely loves running, hiking and swimming upstate. We try to get up there as much as possible. Of course he still has a lot to learn but overall we could not be happier with him. It is so fun to see him learn and try new things....

Thought you'd like to see what a beauty Dory's grown into. Here, in our back yard, she is looking for the local flock of turkeys that has been making the rounds of the neighborhood. She's a great family dog and we're very happy with her. Thank you!...

Thank you! Miley is doing AMAZING! She has got to be the best pup I've ever had. She is such a good girl and just so happy. I know this was random - asking about papers almost 2 years later but every now and then I think about it and thought I'd try!! Here is the little girl! She didn't get too big! Actually went to the vet yesterday - she weighs 43 lbs and she's doing great! Again- we love this girl! Her personality is just amazing! Thank you for getting back to me!!! I can't wait until it's time to get Miley a brother or sister!!!!!

I hope all is well. I can't believe it has been 4 months since we picked up Romano! He has grown so much and is a beautiful dog. He is very smart, and sometimes very stubborn. I think he has adapted quiet well to his new family.
Hope all is Well.

Saoirse from Annie's December litter is now almost 10 months old. She's now measuring 24' at the shoulder and 48 lbs. Basically she is all leg and what an incredible athlete (the latter being unfortunate for Chicago's rabbit population, which she cut into with her first chase-down-kill at 8 months old). We moved to California from Chicago a couple of weeks ago and as you can see, she's in heaven. There are SO many squirrels and little hiking trails to chase a tennis ball down. I can't wait for her to be old enough to come running with me. She's an amazing companion and always up for a new adventure with me. We hope everyone back in NY state is doing well!. Dani (Chicago, IL)
Hello again from Chicago! It's been a while so I figured we were overdue for an update. Saoirse and her Golden sister are still getting along famously, cuddling frequently. Saoirse even crawled into the crate on July 4th to keep Gwen company during the fireworks. Saoirse passed her AKC Star Puppy program with flying colors back in April and has been making great strides in all of her training since then. We couldn't be more proud of her. She's already a master at fetch and I feel like she might do really well in flyball! She's now seven months old and already 22" at the withers, so as expected she's going to be a big girl with an even bigger personality. She's a complete clown with such a serious little face. She has become mortal enemies with a rabbit that lives right outside the fence of the dog park and the bane of many pigeons. We're moving to California this fall so she'll soon be terrorizing all sorts of non-city wildlife, which will bring her great joy. I've already told my husband she's the love of my life; he doesn't seem too offended. But with that face, who could be?...

It has been awhile since we've connected (longer than I intended!) but I wanted to share an update on Bennett and of course some of our favorite pictures! He is 10 months old now, almost 60 pounds, and loves loves tennis balls and his peanut butter kong. He plays everyday with his "squad" of doggy friends on his group walks with our dog walker and at night around the fields of our place. He runs every morning with Dad and lots of snuggles at night with Mom. Summertime has brought around a love of swimming with his life jacket and or course more squirrels and birds to point at. We love him so much... he is basically our baby! We receive at least 2 compliments on every walk we go on - he's quite the handsome boy. Thank you so much for bringing him into our lives, we can't imagine our lives without him. Furever grateful,
From Gina
Happy New Year! I just wanted to share how our puppy, Zeppelin is doing since we got him last month. He is growing like a weed, loves peanut butter, sleeping on people's heads, watching tv and snoring. He is potty trained, TEETHING and started puppy school. He adjusted SO great once we brought him home. Our first nights seems almost too easy. He learned 'sit' in a matter of two days and we taught him to ring a bell when he needs to go outside. They truly are such a smart breed. We couldn't have asked for a better puppy or experience finding him. Thank you so much for all of your help and for bringing us together with our puppy! I will send you a few updates as we grow!....

The female puppy (Penny) we picked up on 3/30/14 is doing just fine. Her pointing instincts are great. We started her on a duck wing tied to a string which she is pointing to in the photo. Can't wait to start field training in October....
